The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has prepared and is implementing a Community Awareness Plan (CAP) for the I-10 Escambia Bay Bridge project. The CAP continues the public involvement activities that were carried out during the Project Development and Environment Study.

This project will take about 2 1/2 years to complete. During this time, several public involvement activities are planned, including public meetings, newsletters, press releases, brochures, and public service announcements.

Our Goal

The goal of the CAP is to provide the public with up-to-date project information, including potential impacts the community will experience during and after construction. A secondary purpose of this CAP is for the FDOT to receive local knowledge about the facility and the surrounding area. The FDOT welcomes your comments about the project.
